Adobe Audition is an application designed for editing and mixing audio for film and media based projects. Using the trial version of the software, this introductory workshop provides practical insight into the different techniques that can be used creatively to explore and edit sound. Learn about technical setup and media organization, get experience with track layout, importing audio from a variety of sources, editing, pre-mixing multiple tracks as well as the technical terms, concepts and tools of digital sound editing.

The course will touch on recording but will focus mainly on editing audio. If you have any audio recordings readily available to edit please bring them, otherwise sound bites will be available for you to use.
