UforChange is a project for youth in St. James Town that
integrates arts, culture and human rights to grow community and improve
livelihoods. Through community building workshops, hands-on art exploration and
projects, staff, participants and mentors explore the social, environmental,
and cultural issues affecting the community and learn how to express themselves
and their ideas for change effectively to the city, the country, and the rest
of the world. UforChange is a federally funded project with numerous other
community stakeholders and brought to you by the Wellesley Institute, Low
Income Families Together, Cabbagetown Community Arts Centre and Banyan
Youth.
