Video Projection Mapping


How do you map multiple videos on any shape or surface, creating intricate and dynamic installations? This workshop is aimed to build your skills in video projection mapping using Resolume Arena. During this hands-on class, we will make small scale sets with various objects, learn and perfect video mapping abilities, carry out minor critiques and have lots of fun!

This workshop is designed for anyone with or without a prior knowledge of video making. You are encouraged to bring your own video material or video reasonably sourced from the internet, such as Creative Commons. You will also be encouraged to build your own projection set out of the materials provided. Be sure to bring your DIY spirit and a laptop (Mac preferred) with the downloaded software, a charger, and an HDMI adapter for you laptop. Please email workshops@ lift.on.ca by Monday March 16, 2020 if you do not have a laptop and wish to take this workshop. All laptops must have the software installed and be able to function proficiently.​
