Introduction to Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop is the industry standard software for graphic designers and photographers, and an important resource for filmmakers and media artists who want to design and edit digital images for their video, web and print work. Learn the basics of this powerful, professional image editor, including formatting for digital video, and the use of filters, alpha channels, colour correction, masking, layering, and importing images to and from non-linear editing projects. Participants are welcome to bring their own digital images to the workshop for manipulation and discussion.

No previous experience with Photoshop required. This workshop is recommended as a companion to the Colour Theory and After Effects workshops. Each participant works at an individual iMac station. Students must be familiar with the Mac interface.
