LIFT Workshop Bursary Program – Winter 2022

Since the onslaught of the pandemic the Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto (LIFT) has been working to ensure that our programming remains accessible to our wider community. In an effort to provide further financial accessibility for those interested in learning about the art of filmmaking, we will be piloting a Workshop Bursary Program for the upcoming Winter 2022 season.

LIFT will be making 10 workshop spots available to those facing financial need. We hope to select five people (two workshops per person) who will be assigned to workshops prior to registration opening to the general public.

For the purposes of protecting your identity, your data will only be seen by the LIFT staff who will be adjudicating the applications and no specific or individual answers will be shared publicly. We do not expect applicants to provide any support material to validate your financial need.

Deadline: Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 5:00pm ET

Successful applicants will be notified by Monday, January 10, 2022
