Unravel is a collective of individuals seeking to diversify the media industry through accessible programming for young women.

The Unravel Film Project is a 5 month program for young women of colour ages 14-18 residing or going to school in East Scarborough. During this program, participants will be receiving mentorship from other young women currently in the industry. Participants will be learning everything that goes into creating a short film, from creative storytelling to the editing. Throughout the program, participants will be introduced to leading professionals in various fields within the film industry, all while learning leadership and time management skills. This will be an opportunity to build a portfolio and learn everything necessary to make short films. The project is free for participants.
