7th Generation Image Makers

7th Generation Image Makers
is an Arts and Mural Program for Native youth in downtown Toronto. Since 1995,
we have operated as a youth arts centre, creating opportunities for
professional arts training.

7th Generation Image Makers
is committed to providing quality and accessible art programming in a
culturally supportive and safe environment. We provide ongoing accessible and
quality fine art instruction taught by professional contemporary Native
artists, mentors, and Elders.

Our team of trained
practicing artists and professionals have created substantial opportunities for
youth artists through community partnerships and public art commissions.
Exciting works by our artists can be seen at the ImagineNATIVE Film and Media
Arts Festival, Aboriginal Voices Radio, McLaren Art Gallery, Indian and
Northern Affairs Canada, the University of Toronto, Native Men’s Residence
& Monarch Park Collegiate.
