Sound Design with Pro Tools

NOTE: It is recommended that participants wear a mask for all in-person workshops.

Sound design is an intricate process that enhances and transforms the experience of watching a film. In this two-evening workshop, learn the conceptual elements of creative sound design in Pro Tools. Explore how to build soundscapes with ambience, sound effects, music, as well as archival sound and libraries to expand the emotional poignancy of your story. Using a demo session participants will get a visual reference on the elements and how they come together in a pre-mix.

The Introduction to Post-Production Sound for Filmmakers and Producers, and Introduction to Sound Editing ProTools workshops are recommended as prerequisites.
