Community and Youth Projects
LIFT provides a space for communities to produce representations on their own terms. Each community collaboration works with LIFT’s professional equipment, facilities and member resources to assist social justice, education, arts and other non-profits in training their constituents to make media and produce the media content they need within often limited budgets.

Centre for Addiction and Mental Health: Rendez-Vous with MadnessSunday 1 November 2009, 00:00LIFT supported an all-inclusive Super 8 filmmaking workshop for the Centre for Addiction & Mental Health. Six participants each created a film project from start to finish. Participants learned basic camera theory, shot with Super 8mm cameras and edited the films digitally.
