Since the emergency orders has been extended in Ontario, LIFT will be extending our closure until at least the end of May. We will be working on putting new systems in place to make sure our re-opening is safe and accessible. We will communicate those new measures when we announce our public opening.

RE: LIFT CLOSURE UPDATE

Dear Members and Community,

On the advice of the Chief Medical Officer of Health and with the approval of the Ontario legislature, the Ontario government is extending the Declaration of Emergency. As a result, we will be extending our closure until Tuesday, May 12, 2020.

RE: LIFT CLOSURE UPDATE

Dear Members and Community,

Due to continued advice from Toronto Public Health on how to fight the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we have decided to extend our closure until Monday, May 4, 2020.

– LIFT will be cancelling all workshops from Friday, March 13 through to Monday, May 4, 2020.

– Our Education Department will be in touch with more details, please check your emails in the coming days. We will be issuing full refunds once we reopen.

– Our Technical Department and LIFT Store is closed. New rentals to production equipment or access to post-production facilities will be not granted. There are also no store shipments or custom orders during the closure.

– Memberships of current members will be extended accordingly. Please check your emails in the coming days.

We are scheduled to reopen on Monday, May 4, 2020, but please stay tuned for additional updates.

RE: LIFT CLOSURE

Dear Members and Community,

In light of the increased safety precautions related to the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we have decided to close for the upcoming weeks.

– LIFT will be cancelling all workshops from Friday, March 13 through to Sunday, April 5, 2020.

– Our Education Department will be in touch with more details, please check your emails. We will be issuing full refunds once we reopen.

– The LIFT Store and Technical Department will be opened on Monday, March 16, 2020 from 10:00am to 2:00pm to receive any outstanding rentals. New rentals will be not granted. Store purchases will be available for in-person sales only, no shipments or custom orders.

– LIFT will be closed after 2:00pm on Monday, March 16, 2020 until Sunday, April 5, 2020.

We are scheduled to reopen on Monday, April 6, 2020, but please stay tuned for additional updates.

Dear Members and Community,

We wanted notify current members and those part of the community about services chances occurring next week due to cautionary changes to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the City.

– LIFT will cancel workshops from Monday March 16 through to Sunday March 22, 2020.

– Office hours will remain the same until further notice, although service will be reduced.

In keeping with notices issued by Canadian health agencies, please practise discretion when coming to the LIFT facility. Routine precautions are still best: wash your hands regularly with soap and hot water for a minimum of 20 seconds. If you are a habitual sufferer of respiratory illnesses, are immunocompromized, or otherwise at-risk, please think carefully about your attendance at public gatherings.
