A TRUMPET ON BROADWAY by Dan Trudeau
A jazz trumpet is thrust into the intolerable world of musical theatre, when hope presents itself in the form of a beautiful clarinet.
Dan Trudeau is an award-winning filmmaker living in the Toronto area. He has written and directed many films on DV, super 8 and 16 mm. Dan has had a passion for animation all his life, and has made this his primary focus the past few years. His last animated film, Battle Of The Senses, won several awards and screened at festivals in the U.S. and Canada. A Trumpet On Broadway will be his first animated film with dialogue, and he is currently securing grant money and a team of animators to get the project rolling. Dan works professionally in the film industry as a Closed Captioning Editor.
A MOTHER’S TOUCH by Daren Foster
Two brothers, adversarial and antithetical in every way including disproportionate success levels as scam artists, meet to hash out the unpleasant details of their mother’s untimely demise.
Daren Foster is an unhyphenated screenwriter resolutely attempting to stay that way. He has eight short scripts and one feature length among other projects for the perusal of directors and producers not yet bitten by the writing bug. Paraphrasing the words of one Bruce Banner, Daren pleads: Do not make me direct. You will not like me if I have to direct.
