Online Registration
Registration opens Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 10am and continues until workshops are full. Only registration via PayPal using Credit Card, or Credit/Interac without setting up a PayPal account will be accepted. At this time limited walk-in registration is available at the office via the self-serve computers to register online. More info on online registration available here.

Workshop Location and Guidelines
LIFT Workshops have limited enrolment. Registration is not confirmed until payment has been received in full. ONLINE workshops may be recorded for staff and facilitator assessment. Recorded material will not be made available to participants. Workshops are subject to schedule, instructor, or content changes and may be cancelled at the discretion of LIFT. All registered participants will be notified of any cancellation or schedule changes. LIFT will refund full registration fees to those participants unable to make rescheduled dates or cancellations. A workshop will run once we have 50% enrolment in the class; please register early to avoid disappointment.

Attendance
LIFT workshops are best suited to individuals 18 years old and over. Only the person whose name appears on the enrolment is registered for the workshop. No other person can attend in their place. There are absolutely no make-ups or transfers allowed for any missed session. Video and/or audio recording of LIFT workshops is prohibited.

No Transfer, Cancellation and Refund Policy
All cancellations must be received and confirmed via email.

Participants must cancel up to five (5) full business days (weekends and holidays excluded) prior to the date of the workshop to receive an 80% refund per cancelled workshop. Workshop fees are non-transferable between workshops for any reason. No compensation is available for cancellations less than five (5) full business days prior to your workshop start time or for non-attendance. Payments made by Paypal will be refunded directly back to your payment cards, otherwise all other payments will be issued by cheque. Cheques can either be mailed or picked up in person from the office when we reopen.

Accessibility Needs
LIFT strives to make our space and workshops as accessible as possible. Please email the Education Department at workshops@lift.ca about special needs at least ten (10) business days before any workshop you are interested in and we will work towards accommodating them. Sign Language Interpreters providing American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation are available for our seasonal workshops, upon request. Please email us about special needs at least ten (10) business days before any workshop you are interested in registering and we will try to set up an interpreter if one is available within the requested timeline. Due to time restraints and ASL interpreter availability we cannot guarantee ASL support on short notice, but we will try our best to provide this support.
