Sought after screenwriter and consultant Esta Spalding is the author of four books of poetry and the co-author of the novel, “Mere.” She has worked as an executive story editor and writer on all three seasons of “The Eleventh Hour”, co wrote the feature “Republic of Love” with Deepa Mehta, and adapted a Barbara Gowdy novel into the feature film “Falling Angels.” Her 2007 original movie of the week “In God’s Country” broke records for viewership on CTV. Her other screenwriting credits include episodes of “Da Vinci’s Inquest,” and the miniseries “Would Be Kings” which was nominated for a Gemini for Best Writing. Esta recently served as a writer and story consultant on the CTV/CBC hit series “Flashpoint.”
