Notice of May 2025 Closure During the Canadian Media Skills Exchange

Dear Members and Community at Large,

Due to the heavy technical needs of our Canadian Media Skills Exchange (CMSE), the LIFT Technical Department will be closed to the LIFT membership and community at large from Thursday, May 22, 2025 5:00pm ET and will reopen on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 10:00am ET.

Please note the Canadian Media Skills Exchange (CMSE) runs May 22 – 26, 2025, and is not open to the general public.

During this temporary closure, production mobile equipment rentals, post-production facility rentals and in-person LIFT Store sales and pick-ups will not be available.

Email replies from staff during this closure may be delayed.

Memberships will still be available to purchase via the online portal during this time.

Equipment Rentals:
Production Level Members wishing to rent equipment during the May closure must pick equipment up by 5:00pm ET on Thursday, May 22, 2025, with returns on May 29, 2025 between 10:15am – 12pm noon. We are offering a special rental price for equipment: the one-week rental period will be charged at a one-and-a-half (1.5) day rate for rentals that must be returned on May 29, 2025. Please plan ahead and take advantage of this special rate!

Production Members can also schedule equipment bookings for May 30, 2025, but requests must be sent in by May 22, 2025. There will be no equipment pick-ups for May 29, 2025. We will not be able to accommodate same-day rentals for May 30, 2025.

LIFT Store Orders:
Online LIFT Store orders must be received by 5:00pm ET on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 and will be shipped via Canada Post on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Any orders received after May 21 will ship on Thursday, May 29, 2025. If you want to place a custom order for Kodak, please do so as soon as possible.
