LIFT congratulates winners of the Premier’s Awards for Excellence in the Arts

October 7, 2016—The Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto (LIFT) would like to congratulate A Different Booklist for their Arts Organization Award at the Ontario Premier’s Awards for Excellence in the Arts. The awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of Ontario’s arts community and its contributions to a strong, vibrant culture sector. LIFT is honoured to be in the company of the five runner-ups this year. We wish them the best in their continued service to the community.

We would also like to congratulate Christi Belcourt, who won the artist award, and Christian Chapman, recipient of the emerging artist awards. The awards ceremony was an inspiring event for all of us.
