The Accessibility of a Super 8mm Camera

The Accessibility of a Super 8mm Camera project is a partnership with a group of University of Toronto engineering students and artist and access advocate Adam Roy Cohoon to design a modified Super8mm camera. The Super 8mm camera will be mounted to an electric wheelchair and designed for filmmakers with limited hand use. The aim is to create a modified Super 8mm camera that Cohoon will use to make a short experimental film this spring as part of a LIFT filmmaking workshop.

Wheel chair users who are interested in the prototyping process can contact the Special Projects Coordinator Terra Long at specialprojects@lift.on.ca
