Sarah Rotella is a Toronto based filmmaker. She graduated Humber’s Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning’s Film and Television Production program in 2008 and OCAD University’s Integrated Media program in 2011. Focusing on writing, directing, and animation, her stop motion work has screened internationally, in a Master Class with Tim Burton, and at the Toronto International Film Festival. Currently, she is creating content for the viral Youtube Channel, The Gay Women Channel.
ReelWorld Film Festival was created by actress Tonya Lee Williams in an effort to create opportunities for emerging Canadian and International talent, especially those of Aboriginal, Asian, Black, Latino, South Asian, Middle Eastern and multiracial descents. ReelWorld has caused a significant shift in this industry, and the faces on and off screen are testaments to this change.
