The
Temp
written by Jayvibha Vaidya

Clara
Davis’ career is MIA. Her bank account needs CPR, and her rent needs to be paid
ASAP. She agrees to a temp job as an administrative assistant at a top law
firm, but once she enters the building, she’s forced to put up with creepy
co-workers, cryptic warning messages and a boss who demands way more than her
time. Just a regular office, right? That’s what she thinks, until she disobeys
orders and discovers her coworkers aren’t exactly human.

Viaticum written by Cody Campanale, Andrew Smith, Rob Stockman

A
Priest administers an Old Man’s last rights on a stormy evening in Toronto.
After the Old Man’s death, the Young Priest finds himself in a battle for his
own life when a brutal stabbing leaves him ‘left for dead’.  In another part of the country, Liz
receives a call from the hospital informing her of her father’s unstable
condition. On the drive into town, she reflects on the suffering she endured
while living in her father’s house, and whether or not she wants to make peace
with him. The two stories intertwine, creating a portrait of suffering and
renewal.
