Workshop Registration

Instructions



PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE REGISTERING

For credit card or PayPal registrations, please use our online system remotely. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Visa Debit. Cash or interac transactions require in person registration during office hours. Participants must cancel up to five (5) full business days, excluding weekends and holidays, prior to the start date of the workshop to receive a 80% refund per cancelled workshop. See our workshop policy for further details: https://lift.ca/workshops/workshop-policies/

The majority of workshops are in person at 1137 Dupont Street, Toronto, Ontario, M6H 2A3 and some will take place online via Zoom. Please use the Gladstone Avenue entrance for all in person workshops. Note the format of delivery (in person or online) for the workshop beside its name.

Please arrive to all workshops on time.

For online workshops:
Participants will need access to a computer equipped with the required software, a microphone, a web camera, a stable internet connection, and to be familiar with using the basic version of the video conferencing platform, Zoom. Prior to the workshop, please create a free Zoom account by visiting: https://zoom.us/signup
 
You will receive an email from the LIFT Education Department with the link and password one hour prior to the start of the workshop. If you have not received it by an hour prior to the workshop please check your SPAM folder or PROMOTIONS tab before contacting LIFT. 
 
Please ensure that you log in using a Zoom account with a profile name that appears as the same name registered for the class. If not, for security reasons, you may not be permitted to join. During the workshop, we advise that you keep your microphone on mute to minimize external noise and that you unmute when participating in class discussions. Please also arrive to the session on time so the instructor can admit you before the lesson begins.

ONLINE workshops may be recorded for staff and facilitator assessment. Recorded material will not be made available to participants.

 
To enjoy the discount member prices, purchase or renew at the General Level Membership before you register for workshops.

Please Note: Your LIFT membership profile is linked by one individual email, so use the SAME email you registered / renewed with to log in to the workshop registration portal.

Registration:
1. Browse the categories and select your workshop event(s) by adding them to your shopping cart
2. Click on your shopping cart to view your selected workshop event(s).
3. To checkout, enter your email address at the end of your shopping cart and press "Checkout"
    (if you are a current LIFT member, your membership discount will automatically apply)
4. Review your order then click "PAY NOW TO REGISTER" to pay by credit card or Paypal.

A receipt with tickets will be emailed to you after the transaction is complete.

This online registration system is for individual registrants only. Email LIFT at workshops@lift.on.ca for any group registrations, if you need to pay by cash or debit, or if you have questions.
