FRAGMENTS By Viki Posidis

 

FRAGMENTS is the story of Rose Anna, a young woman that battles with a host of multiple personalities developed in childhood, to help her cope with repressed memories of sexual abuse.

 

Viki Posidis is a prolific screenwriter having completed 5-feature length scripts with the sixth underway. Through years of study and practice, Viki developed her craft to a place where she felt her scripts were ready for submission. She queried Canadian and US producers alike and received several requests to read her scripts. Viki’s scripts were very well received with positive and encouraging responses, which fueled Viki to persevere and expand on her dream further. This lead Viki to the independent world of filmmaking. She tried her hand at writing shorts and penned her first short film, Fragments, which will serve as her directorial debut as well as the second film she will produce.

 

UNTITLED PUPPET PROJECT By Christina Ray

 

UNTITLED PUPPET PROJECT is a comedic horror script about a ventriloquist who falls in love with his puppet.

 

Award winning screenwriter/director Christina Ray is the co-writer of the horror film GINGER SNAPS BACK. She currently writes for the sci-fi episodic series THE COLLECTOR, which airs on CityTV. After winning 3rd Place with QUADRANGLE in the 1st New Century Writer Awards competition in April 1998, Christina was chosen as one of twenty-five New Faces of Indie Film in the summer issue of Filmmaker Magazine. A grant from the Ontario Arts Council funded her first short film, ALIENNE, which she directed in 2003. She is currently in production on her second film, footage. , an experimental short. She is a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre’s Professional Screenwriting Programme and is represented by Glenn Cockburn at The Characters Agency in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

 

Take part in LIFT OUT LOUD where LIFT members workshop their scripts to by professional actors and then get feedback from the audience of their peers. We are looking for scripts for upcoming readings.
