(Home Again)

Two television pilots for discussion

The Third Wheel written by Stephanie Law

When a free-spirited young woman moves in with her lawyer
brother and his bossy girlfriend, things get a little…awkward. This is a 1/2
comedy about jealousy, insecurity, and tolerating the people in our lives —
even if we really, really don’t want to.

Sol written by Genevieve Heineman

The pilot episode of SOL sets up the family dynamics and
reveals hidden secrets of the dysfunctional Solano family. Amid power struggles between the siblings,
Papa Solano announces to his family that after their debt to a Mexican drug
cartel is paid off, he will take Mama and retire to his dream home in Mexico
City. He is oblivious to the fact that Mama is very unhappy and has met an
attractive woman who is determined to convince Mama to leave him.
