This week is a feature script, Euphoria by Sonny Malhotra, plus his short film Limbo headed for production in February.
EUPHORIA centers on Caleb Mackenzie, a model
citizen in his community. He is well respected amongst his friends, he
gives to the poor, and kids look up to him. Caleb is also a drug dealer
working for Fazeel, a crime boss who also acts as a nightclub manager.
The script focuses on the day in the life of a man who is given the
deal of a lifetime.
LIMBO is a story about a man who wakes
up in a hospital with a bandage around his head. He is told that he
suffers from Amnesia and his rehabilitation will be long and painful.
He is told he has a wife and a brother who he doesn‚t remember. They
take him home and treat him well until he discovers a secret that will
affect his life for good. Limbo is a psychological thriller where even
realizing who you are can put you in a limbo state forever.
