Call for Applications: BAICC International Artist Residency Program 2023 – Extended

Call for Applications:
BAICC International Artist Residency Program 2023
with LIFT, (S8) Mostra Internacional de Cinema Periférico and Acción Cultural Española-AC/E

In 2017, the first International Artistic Residencies for Cinematographic Creation (BAICC), were launched, promoted by the (S8) International Peripheral Film Festival of A Coruña. This involves a selection process to take part in a residency to produce an audiovisual work shot in analogue format (35 mm, 16 mm, 8 mm or super 8) in Toronto, Canada.

It is a project that was greatly sought after by (S8), which materialised thanks to the support of Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) and the Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto (LIFT), reaffirming the Mostra’s strong commitment to artistic production and creation in alternative spaces.

All those people born or residing in Spain, with an accredited artistic career, who wish to carry out an audiovisual project in analogue format, may participate in the call.

The 2023 residency will be in Toronto (Canada) for 4 to 6 uninterrupted weeks, between September 15 and October 31, 2023 at the facilities of LIFT.

Deadline: Applications may be submitted until 23:59 (GMT+1) on Sunday, June 18, 2023.
No applications received after the deadline will be accepted.
