LIFT at Kensington Market’s Pedestrian Sundays – August 2024
August 16, 2024—Looking to do something creative to close off the month? Then come on down to Kensington Market in downtown Toronto and visit our booth outside Good Egg (156 Augusta Avenue) for the August edition of Pedestrian Sundays.
Pedestrian Sundays is an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the summer season by eating good food, exploring the vibrant Kensington Market and having fun in the sun. Come explore the world of analog found footage filmmaking at the LIFT booth
In this free workshop, participants are guided through the process of found footage filmmaking using analog film strips. Participants will be shown how to cut various pieces of film together to create a sequence which they can view at our booth.
LIFT’s Technical Coordinator Noah Henderson and Summer Conference and Meeting Planner Poppi Fella Pellegrino will show participants how to make short sequences using 16mm film and a 16mm film viewer.
