Call for Submissions: LIFT Seasonal Screening Series – Documentary
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
LIFT SEASONAL SCREENING SERIES
Toronto, March 1, 2019—The Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto (LIFT) will be launching a seasonal screening series that will highlight recently completed films made by our current members.
Each screening will focus on a specific form—documentary, narrative, experimental, music videos—and will offer artists and audiences a space to engage with new work and support their fellow peers. Each event will also feature a surprise film from LIFT’s history.
If you have a film you want to share in a relaxed setting of the festival circuit to get feedback from fellow creatives, this is the members’ event for you.
In April, we’ll be kicking things off with a look at documentaries on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Niagara Custom Lab (NCL). Located at 182A St. Helens Avenue (Bloor Street West and Lansdowne Avenue), NCL is a full-service motion picture film laboratory, one of the last of a rare breed that focuses on providing the most complete and diverse post-production services available for celluloid.
