Made in Canada, the documentary, is witness that in order to grow the
industry, we need to do better at audience engagement. In today’s
fragmented viewing landscape producers have lost the right to ask for
any viewer’s undivided attention, making it more challenging to define
and target content consumers. This experienced panel delves into why
informed audience metric is the key to better engagement; why
metrics have a forceful impact on production financing; and what
investors now expect from relationships with content producers.
