GUEST MODERATOR – KAREN WALTON:
Feisty, provocative and very irreverent, multi-award winning writer Karen Walton has become one of Canada’s most sought-after screenwriters. After being nominated for a Gemini for writing the teen drama STRAIGHT UP and penning the Canadian Cult-horror hit GINGER SNAPS (which spawned two sequels), Karen was labeled one of the Top Ten Writers to Watch by Variety Magazine. Her work on the contextually innovative GINGER SNAPS is one of the subjects of this fall’s US publication of The New Horror Handbook. She has written for the TV series THE ELEVENTH HOUR, QUEER AS FOLK, WHAT IT’S LIKE BEING ALONE, and is currently working on feature screenplays with Jean-Marc Vallee (C.R.A.Z.Y), Mike Dowse (FUBAR), and producer Robert Jones (USUAL SUSPECTS).

A tongue-in-cheek romp through the fields of obsession, retaliation, and the challenge of outwitting the Devil himself.

A psycho killer, compelled by his sense of justice, power and love, struggles to correct the wrongs in his moral reality.
