Build on the foundational skills of projection mapping with the node-based software, Isadora. This course will invite actors/performers to collaborate with workshop participants to design an assigned scene, which will feature projection mapping as both a narrative device and set design technique. The class will be divided into groups of two projection mappers and one or two actors/performers. Each group will be given the script for a 5-10 minute scene and will spend the class negotiating, designing, building and finally showcasing their scene for the class and invited guests by projecting the light-set onto plinths, and boxes. Each of the groups' performances will be filmed, and be played back for the class in the showcase finale for discussion, encouragement, and feedback.

Please email workshops@lift.on.ca by Monday December 3, if you do not have a laptop and wish to take this workshop. All laptops must be able to function proficiently with the software.
