Production DesignProduction design can mean the difference between a good film and a great film. The best design will tell you exactly who the character is, or when and or where the story is taking place in a single shot. In this two-evening workshop learn how the art department tells the story through set design, decoration and costume as they work to bring life into a film. For directors wanting to make their films look better, to visual artists wanting to break into the film industry, this workshop gives a comprehensive overview of art direction for short and feature filmmaking. Learn all about the role of the production designer in filmmaking.
The Introduction to Independent Filmmaking workshop is strongly recommended as a prerequisite.
