The Script Supervisor is the on set representative of the editor, responsible for continuity, making sure the coverage is complete, and ensuring the shots will cut together. This four-hour course is ideal for directors who want to get the most out of their shots, editors who want to know what happens on set, and anyone who wants to work as a Script Supervisor. There will be samples of Script Supervisor notes, production reports, and practical exercises.

 

Instructor: 

Danielle Morgan is an award-winning filmmaker whose work has screened at film festivals worldwide and aired internationally. In addition to her work as a writer/director, Danielle is an experienced script supervisor and editor. She has worked with numerous award-winning filmmakers including Lynn Shelton and Guy Maddin. Her recent editing work includes Loop Planes, produced by Killer Films and The Oath, as assistant editor, by Academy Award winning director Laura Poitras. Currently, Danielle is editing a feature, Semper Fidelis, by director Robert Pietri, shot in Cuba. Danielle is an MFA Candidate at New York University’s Graduate Film Program at Tisch School of the Arts. www.daniellemorganfilms.com
