LIFT was incorporated in 1981 and has been an important resource for filmmakers in Toronto since opening its doors. Thirty years on, LIFT has seen thousands of films and videos emerge from the centre. The open house will inform you about what is available at LIFT, including equipment, membership and our upcoming Winter 2012 workshop season. All are welcome to attend public tours of the LIFT facility, which offers dedicated resources for film training and production unparalleled anywhere else in the world. The office is located at 1137 Dupont Street (east of Dufferin Avenue, at the corner of Gladstone Avenue).

Visitors are welcome to walk through the facility, but we also offer guided tours lead by LIFT staff at the times listed below. Tours will be approximately 30 minutes in length.
