DaVinci Resolve is not only a powerful Colour Grading Suite, it is also a full featured Video Editor. This introductory course will explore how to ingest and organize media, edit a sequence, add basic effects, titles and transitions, and prepare outputs for digital platforms such as Vimeo and Youtube. This course is recommended for anyone new to video editing, or anyone looking to switch to DaVinci Resolve from another platform. Students are welcomed to bring in their own footage for professional assessment (if time permits).

This workshop is recommended as a companion to the Editing Aesthetics and Documentary Editing workshops. Each participant works at an individual iMac station. Students must be familiar with the Mac interface.
