This workshop is designed for participants who have a basic comprehension of Final Cut Pro and are looking for a more in-depth understanding of what is possible with the program. Learn how to capture and transfer advanced formats, mix formats, capture files, incorporate still images, use advanced motion and key framing, create titles, effectively use video filters, and utilize the power of three way colour correction. Participants will learn how to customize their keyboards and hot keys, explore markers, subclip and sync dual system footage, utilize advanced multi-cam editing techniques efficiently, work with audio (levels, filters and different formats) and export for Pro Tools.

This is not an introductory level class, participants should understand Final Cut Pro basics. Introduction to Final Cut Pro is strongly recommended as a prerequisite. Please note LIFT Final Cut Pro based classes run on Final Cut Pro 6, not Final Cut Pro X. Each participant works at an individual iMac station. Students should be familiar with the Mac interface.
