Rebecca and Ivan have been married for many years. Ivan is infirmed and Rebecca has taken over running the house as well as become his primary care giver. While going through some papers in Ivan’s desk Rebecca finds some letters to Ivan that alter the realities of all their years together. What does she do with that knowledge now when Ivan can no longer respond to her questions coherently?
Written by Richard Pierre
A young woman haunted by the past must take control of her life before things spiral out of control.

Mark Slutsky is a writer and filmmaker based in Montreal. His short film Sorry, Rabbi which stars Jessica Paré (Mad Men) and Jacob Tierney (The Trotsky), premiered at TIFF 2011 and is still playing the festival circuit, and his new short, The Decelerators, makes its festival debut this fall. Mark spent 10 years as a core member of ultra-low-budget micro-indie Automatic Vaudeville studios, playing pretty much every conceivable role behind and in front of the camera, culminating in the group’s feature film Peepers (EOne), which he co-wrote and produced. He also co-wrote The Fruit Hunters (Eyesteel, NFB, CBC), a new feature documentary directed by Yung Chang, opening this November. His film and food writing has appeared in the Montreal Mirror, Bon Appetit, GOOD and many other publications.
