Eden Ridge written by Caitlin Fryers

In 1876, a young woman disguises herself as a man and flees her home in Dakota Territory for the sanctuary of Canada. Before she can cross the border, she narrowly escapes falling victim to a serial killer and finds herself enlisted to help the posse hunting him down. But she must also keep her own crimes from coming to light if she ever wants to achieve her freedom.

Robert Lantos began his producing career as an independent film producer in 1976 with the low budget L'Ange et la Femme. While producing motion pictures he built Canada's leading film and television content company Alliance Communications Corporation, of which he was Chairman and CEO. In 1998 he sold his controlling interest in Alliance in order to focus on the creative process. He now produces motion pictures at his boutique production company, Serendipity Point Films.

Writer Caitlin Fryers grew up in Winnipeg and began writing scripts—bad ones—in second year university. After completing her degree in English she enrolled in UCLA’s Professional Program in Screenwriting where she learned that inciting incidents should happen before page thirty. In 2011 she moved to Toronto to complete her MFA in Screenwriting at York University and will defend Eden Ridge, her thesis screenplay, in May. Besides writing, she also likes hot chocolate, horses, and log cabins.
