Media CreatorZ 2011

Participants learned basic filmmaking skills and created a short film with Media Creatorz. Workshops were hosted by Aboriginal filmmakers Miles Turner and Amanda Strong. The Media CreatorZ project involves a series of weekly workshops for ten Native youth in Toronto on the topic of contemporary storytelling. This project provided youth with filmmaking skills so they can highlight First Nations issues and share their untold stories. LIFT provided facilities and equipment for Media CreatorZ.
